Scope:

3D Modeling, Shop Drawings & CNC Data

Engineered for an express urban fulfillment and regional distribution depot in the Munich logistics corridor, this compact 300 m² structural steel facility is designed for high-turnover parcel operations and rapid dispatch. Modeled to LOD 400 precision within Tekla Structures, the structure combines a rigid single-bay portal frame with continuous dual-side cantilevered loading canopies anchored by diagonal strut supports to protect handling bays from snow and rain.

Our structural detailing addressed the concentrated moment reactions at the canopy bracket tie-ins to withstand regional Bavarian snow drift and wind uplift forces. We detailed the integrated roof parapet framing, delivered clash-free single-part fabrication drawings, and produced fully automated DSTV/NC1 files for automated workshop beam lines. This high level of coordination guaranteed a rapid, zero-clash bolt-up erection on a restricted site footprint without field modifications.
